Instrumentation Sales Engineer - High-Speed Imaging

(Circa £40k plus car & benefits)

Photo-Sonics International Ltd, a subsidiary of Photo-Sonics Inc., is part of one of the world’s leading instrumentation companies. We currently have an open vacance for an Instrumentation Sales Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded engineer to join a specialist Oxfordshire-based team working with advanced high-speed imaging technology.

The role involves developing sales of our high-speed imaging solutions across the automotive, aerospace and academic sectors, helping customers apply specialist technology to demanding test and measurement challenges. The successful candidate will be supported by our technical staff, receive product training in our offices and with our partners, and work closely with international partners while travelling regularly within the UK and Europe.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:

  • A positive approach to work within a close-knit team environment.

  • Personal drive and ambition to help move Photo-Sonics International forward.

  • A sound understanding of the engineering principles used in instrumentation and metrology.

  • A degree-level or equivalent qualification in an Engineering or Science-based discipline.

  • An ability to build long-term relationships with customers and other members of the team.

  • A strong working understanding of office-based IT including Office365 and CRM.

  • A robust technical foundation, application focus, and the drive to achieve sales growth and succeed in a technical sales role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong personal organisation skills.

  • Possession of a full current driving licence.

The following attributes would also be advantageous:

  • Some experience of imaging techniques in a test environment.

  • Experience or understanding of the use of high-speed imaging in an automotive testing environment.

  • An interest in instrumentation and imaging with the desire to know more.

 

The successful candidate will be required to stay away from home on occasion for up to one week.
